Jogger killed by airplane/My Time w/Hologix

I was a tad perplexed when I saw how this guy died. It isn't that I think much about the supernatural or spells or even aliens but I was reminded how John Walton died. (Wal-Mart Walton)

Alrighty then, and I was also reminded of a Christmas party I attended when working at Hologix.

For starters, I was 'only' a receptionist at Hologix and I was invited to this hi-falutin party with all the big-shots. hmmmmmmmm, it seemed strange as none of the engineers or programmers or even the CEO's assistant was invited, but I was??????

Now here's the hairy part........... WHY, of all people was I invited? I had an hour long conversation with the CEO about a week earlier and it was like he was picking my brain..... I was to find out after all was said and done and I was fired, that it had been a hostile takeover. (Even my firing was odd as I was paid off with a small settlement and offered schooling at Charles Schwab for 2 years??????) I had walked into the CFO's (Al Booz) office and pretty much told him that either the CEO was a blatant LIAR or his assistant was a psychotic bitch. He told me as he was walking out that Paul wanted to say good-by but I refused. IT was a very strange situation. He also said Paul wasn't a liar and intimated that Jennifer Longdon was probably the culprit. (I talked later to Miles and he said it was definitely Rajski.)

Anyways, back on topic here as I seemed to get side-tracked .........

When I first got the job, the name of the company was MBA Technologies (Miles Burke Associates) and the owner, duh, was Miles Burke. He had 2 partners Dan O'Neil and Greg Biltz and they were looking for someone to buy the company.

Paul Rajski and Al Booz came on board as CEO and CFO and Arthur Andersen was their auditors.

NOW, back to the Christmas party/Miles had just remarried and brought his new wife to the party but Greg and Dan didn't attend. Miles was later to intimate to me something was fishy in the takeover. Why wasn't Paul's Admin Assistant invited?

Paul Rajski walked out to the balcony and invited all of US to come out and he would open a bottle of Champagne and we would celebrate. Paul then took out a hatchet and whacked the cork out of the bottle. In the process a piece of glass shot acoss the balcony and slit Miles wife's arm wide open. It all seemed very strange at the time as her arm was sliced open and bleeding profusely and Paul simply walked past her and into the house and suggested that his wife call 911. (His behaviour was VERY strange indeed.)

Miles appeared pissed off as hell and glared at Paul and said he wouldn't wait for the paramedics and he put a towel over his wife's injury and hurried her out to his car to take her to the hospital. (I knew Miles pretty well by this time and HE WAS VERY ANGRY.)

It was bizarre and from what I gathered Miles had the distinct impression there was a lot of diabolical things going on and I truly think he thought, as I did, that there had been an attack on him through his wife.

At one time during the takeover Miles tried to walk away from the business as he was having some health issues. I don't know what happened but he returned after a week to work. Funny cause I had helped him clean his office and was pretty damn sure he had no intention of returning.

Dan and Greg and another employee; Rich Solar stayed but weren't in the best of moods.

There were blue prints and lots of high dollar things going on during this whole things and it was a well known fact that there was to be a new and expensive office built in Scottsdale. There was lots of new furniture being bought and lots of top dollar purchases going on when I was fired.

I was the first to go and within a year of me leaving Hologix went off the radar.
